Hi I'm Josh

I'm a performer. I´m a people person. I'm a milkshake lover. I'm a missionary in the Spain, Malaga mission. And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am currently attending school at Brigham young university studying absolutely everything I can get my hands on! But I've put my education on hold for two years to serve a mission in the Spain Malaga mission. Because of my father's work, I've moved from city to city and state to state just about every two years of my life, and I've lived in Utah, Colorado, Oregon, California, Arkansas, Arizona, and now Spain! I love any kind of performing, be it dance, theater, improv comedy, or singing. I've been in about twenty theatrical performances ever since I was in kindergarten. I've taken part in state choirs. I was even on a local daytime cooking competition TV show! Music has always been a huge part of my life, ever since I memorized the primary song "the iron rod" when I was three years old. But my real passion in life is people. It doesn´t matter who they are or where they come from, but I could sit down for hours and talk to just about anybody about anything! I truly strive to make everybody I meet a sincere friend.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because one day, I felt very very lost. I felt sad. I felt alone. I knelt down and in the most humble, sincere prayer I have ever offered, I asked God, if there really was a god, if he truly did exist and if I was His son and if he truly loved me. I was filled with a consuming love, the most sublime joy that I have ever experienced. I had a similar experience after reading the Book of Mormon, to know if it truly was His word. I was once again filled with the same wonderful joy. I have a powerful testimony that this is the true church and I feel such a love of this gospel because of the knowledge that it gives me that I am a son of God Almighty and he loves me and hears my prayers.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a missionary for the church. As a missionary, I find people who have been looking for the truth but don't know where to find it, teach them the restored gospel, and baptize them so as to become part of the kingdom of God on earth. I wholeheartedly believe this gospel is true and I know that when Jesus said "inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, he have done it unto me," he was telling the truth. Serving other people is the greatest way to serve Jesus Christ. Any chance I get to serve somebody, I do it, because that's what the savior would have done. Service is the greatest way to show our gratitude for the savior and His sacrifice.
