Hi I'm Kylan

I was born and raised in Utah. I love to write books and short stories. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born into a family that were already members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and when I came to the proper age I choose to be baptized and officially become a member myself. Growing up as a Mormon is not as different as some might think compared to growing up of another faith. I grew up with the knowledge that God is my Father in Heaven, and Jesus Christ being his only begotten Son, and knowing that I am a child of God I grew up with the thought that Jesus is not just my older brother but everyone's older brother, because we are all children of God. I think I started to get the idea of how important this gospel is when I was 6 or 7 years old when I learned about Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon in church. But when I first met the Missionaries that came to speak in my Sunday school class, I knew I wanted to be exactly like them. And now I have my own Mission call to serve in the Michigan Detroit Mission, and I only hope that I can be able to help others gain to the knowledge of the gospel that I grew up.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up, I have repeatedly felt God's love for me, in fact I feel it everyday. And I have felt my Savior's loving arms around me when ever I was hurt and needed comfort. I know that my Father in Heaven loves me, and that he sent his Son Jesus Christ to lead by example and atone for our sins. I know that God answers our prayers, and all we have to do is have faith in him and his Son. I am a Mormon because I know God loves me, and he loves you.

How I live my faith

I recently received my Mission call to serve in the Michigan Detroit mission. During the time that I have before I leave, I am preparing to be able to serve God and his Son Jesus Christ by being an example of love and care just as he was.
