Hi I'm Amy Bennett

I'm a missionary, love music, have celiac, am quirky, and I'm Mormon.

About Me

I am a very unique person. I love to have fun and try new things! Sometimes I am very clumsy, but that has taught me how to have good reflexes. Music moves my soul in a way that nothing else can. I love to sing, dance, and play the harp. I also love writing. It is a very freeing experience for me. I have celiac disease, which has been both the hardest and best thing to ever happen to me. I absolutely love Disney, and I love being me :)

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family, but it wasn't until I was a teenager that I truly believed what I grew up learning. I had several experiences that helped me to see that I could not go through life without help from an all knowing being. Once I felt God's love for me that first time, I started to dive in the Book of Mormon. No matter what I am currently going through, the Book of Mormon always comes to my aid. I am a Mormon because I love what I learn at church on Sundays and in the scriptures the rest of the week. Also because I could not deny the Spirit that I feel when I am living the way that I know I should be. By following God's commandments my life has become a million times better and I am happier than I ever thought possible. I am a Mormon because I have seen the countless ways that God is watching out for me and blessing me daily.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to improve myself a little bit everyday. I am not perfect, in fact far from it. But by trying to be more like Christ each day, I am able to see a slow, but steady change. I live my faith by trying to reach out to people around me and loving and serving them. I enjoy reading the scriptures each day and gaining strength from them. I love to lose myself in prayer to my Heavenly Father. There is nothing better than prayer in my opinion. Right now I live my faith by serving as a missionary in the great state of South Carolina.
