Hi I'm Charity Vincent

I grew up in Utah. I am a type 1 diabetic, and a Music as well as Outdoor enthusiast.

About Me

I have lived in Utah my whole life, and with the mountains only 5 minutes away, I am huge outdoor and athletic enthusiast. From hiking, biking, running, basketball, volleyball, skiing, boating, rock climbing and more, you can count me in! I am also very passionate about music. I studied piano for 6 years, and love to sing. I taught myself how to play the guitar and ukulele and it's on my bucket list to learn how to play the drums. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 14, it has been challenging, but I try to look at the silver lining with my disease and remind myself that the sky is the limit. The only limits we have are the one's that we set for ourselves. I love spending time with family and friends or just people in general, and if you're going to the movies, I am definitely game.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints means everything to me. My parents have been taking me to church ever since I was a child, however there came a point in my life when I wanted to know for myself if the Church really was true. My mother told me to turn to God through scriptures and prayer and find out of the Church was true. So I did. Nothing has brought me so much joy and happiness in my life. There have been times in my life when I find myself with questions or doubt as everyone does. When this happens I always think about the Gospel both from a logical and spiritual standpoint. I think to myself that every single good thing that has happened in my life has come from the Gospel, and I know that I cannot deny the spirit that has born testimony to me of its truthfulness in ever aspect, and the love that I have felt from my Heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ. I always want those feelings of peace, solace, love, and happiness that the Gospel brings to be in my life. This is why I choose, and why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

As a Mormon, I currently serve with others as a ward missionary, and absolutely love it! I love making new friends and letting them know that they have lots of friends and didn't even know it! We encourage people to participate in church activities, take missionary lessons and help them get to know others in their neighborhood! I am also preparing to leave to serve a full time mission for 18 months in Los Angeles California where I will be sharing the gospel in the Spanish Language! Meeting new people and sharing the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has never brought me so much joy.
