Hi I'm Gerald S. Bellon

I grew up in Utah with a great family of 3 brothers and goodly parents. I have been a member of the church for 69 years.

About Me

The things in my life from which I have gained the most happiness has been my good wife of 53 years and our seven children and 33 grand children and one great grandson. Family is the strength of our world. I am presently retired but was a banker for many years and then was a commercial sales person which I wish I had done my entire working career. I have been blessed to serve in many positions in the Church and in each calling I have felt the influence of the Holy Ghost in my life. I love people and hope I can find good in every association I am blessed to have.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and have been since I was eight years old. Over the years as I have studied the Book of Mormon and other scriptures which have strengthened my testimony over the years. I have a Prophet who I can follow, knowing he is directed by our Savior in leading the church in the right paths. The Church has been a great source of help in raising a large family with few problems. I am a Mormon because I know it is the only true church on the face of the earth and was organized through a true prophet Joseph Smith. I have prayed many times and always receive the same answer. My Heavenly Father loves me and it is truly His Church. We have in the Church every thing needed to get us back into the presence of our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ which is where I want to be one day.

How I live my faith

My wife and I are excited to begin our service as full time missionaries for the Church. We will be serving for 23 months as full time stay at home missionaries. In the past I have been blessed by being in several leadership positions in the Church. Some my my most enjoyable times were spent teaching and associating with the youth and young adults. I have tried to be an example of one who loves my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ to all I have had the privilege of associating with both in and out of the Church. In my community I take pride in being able to vote for those I feel will represent me and my ideals. For several years I was a member of the Lions club and had a great experience with the good members of my group.
