Hi I'm Jacqueline

I am serving as full-time missionary in the Korea Seoul South mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Although I was born in Texas I grew up in the Salt Lake Valley, and currently attended Brigham Young University for one year prior to serving my mission. Some of my hobbies include ice skating, refashioning clothes, playing the piano/guitar/ukulele, and doing just about anything outside.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that I am a daughter of a heavenly king who loves me. I know that my Heavenly Father sent his son to suffer and die for me so that I could come to this beautiful earth to learn, grow, and eventually return to Him. I know that there is no way to explain the beauty that surrounds me than by divine power. I know that the Book of Mormon is the most correct of any book on the earth today, and that Joseph Smith, a prophet of God, translated it through Godly power. I know that God knows me, and has a plan for me. This is why I choose to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Currently, I am a serving as a full-time missionary in the Korea Seoul South mission. In the past I have been a Sunday school teacher, a secretary for 3 youth presidencies. I have also served as a ward missionary. One of the most enjoyable, and scariest ways I live my faith is by giving sacrament meeting talks. I don't enjoy the nerves that seem to always associate themselves with standing and speaking in front of a large group of people. I do, however, enjoy the opportunity I have to ponder and study a particular gospel subject, and then share my thoughts with people I care for and love. Also, as a missionary I am able to teach the gospel every single day for 18 months. I can't think of a better way to live your faith than to dedicate a year and half to two years to our Heavenly Father and spread the joys of the restored gospel.
