Hi I'm Austin Jason Wardle

I've been a member all my life. Im 18 yrs old and I've recently been called to serve in the Eugene, Oregon mission. I'm a mormon:)

About Me

I love sports! I played basketball and football and am currently running track at my high school. I am a senior and getting ready to serve a mission. I've been able to take several college courses during my senior and junior years and will graduate from high school this spring almost having 2 years of college completed. I am an eagle scout. I love the outdoors; hunting, fishing, camping you name it! I love Hawaii and have been blessed to have gone twice with my family. I am the oldest child in my family. I have a little brother whose 15 and a sister turning 12 soon. I love my family and wouldn't trade them for the world!

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church my whole life. I chose to be baptized when I was 8 years old and it is definitely a choice that has affected my entire life for the better. I love this gospel. I know that this is the only true church of Christ on the earth today that has the complete teachings and authority of God. I know this to be true because the spirit has testified it to me many times through my scripture study of the Book of Mormon and Bible, through daily prayer, and striving to live as Heavenly Father wants me to. I believe that God has a great plan, a plan of happiness, for me personally and all His children. I know that when we seek Him diligently in our lives we can recognize His hand in everything we do, which is very humbling and comforting. I know that we have a living prophet on the earth today that God speaks through just like in biblical times Being a member of the church has brought me such great happiness that I know I can't find anywhere else in this world.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to do what God wants me and would have me do. I'm enrolled in seminary, I attend my church meetings, I study my scriptures and pray each day. I strive to become a better person and example. I am far from perfect but I know that through and because of Christ I can have a second chance, a third, a fourth and so on. I love the feeling of the spirit when you're trying to live righteously. There isn't a feeling like it!
