Hi I'm Ashlynn

I am a college student. I love trying new things. I love swimming and water polo. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in California with 2 brothers and 1 sister. We are all very different but similar at the same time. I enjoy ballroom dancing, music, reading, swimming, water polo, and trying new things. I am a college student in Utah. I love teaching swim lessons and enjoy seeing my students progress.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it fills me with happiness and love. I look at the world and see misery, despair, greed, and loneliness. With the gospel, I don't feel that way. I feel joy, gladness, and complete peace. I have always been a member of the church but that is not why I am a Mormon. I am a Mormon because the things that this church teaches, are true. I can feel it with every fiber of my being. I love this gospel and the peace and joy it brings me. And that is why I am a Mormon

How I live my faith

I live my faith by just doing the little things. Reading my scriptures, going to church, following the guidance the church gives up. I love going to church and spending time with the people I meet there. You can always learn so much from the people you meet.

What is faith?

Faith is acting on things that you believe but can't be proven. Having faith is like knowing something is true and having confidence in it. We often compare faith to a tiny mustard seed, which if planted and nourished, will grow. Faith is exactly the same. If you plant a little seed of faith in your heart, and then nourish it with scripture study, following the commandments, and going to church, it will grow. Show more Show less
