Hi I'm Joshua Lyon

I grew up in the foothills in Colorado. I am a BYU student studying mechanical engineering. And I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am currently serving a mission for the church in Edmonton, Canada, but before my mission I was a student of the Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering at BYU, studying mechanical engineering. I enjoy building things, rock climbing, mountain biking and playing guitar. I have two siblings; my older brother Jacob and my older sister Lexi.

Why I am a Mormon

Like many member of the church, I was born into it, and I have chosen to follow the example of my parents. I have come to find that I agree with every policy that the church has, and it helps to guide my decisions in everyday life. Some may call our beliefs old-fashioned, and I agree with them. The world needs a little old-fashioned, and to look back at our ancestors, who were much more faithful than the world is now

How I live my faith

My current calling is as my Ward's activities coordinator. My calling is to arrange our activities that include everyone in the ward, so it can be quite challenging to arrange! After this semester of college, I am serving a mission in the Canada Edmonton mission, teaching in the Spanish language.
