Hi I'm Daniel

I'm from California. I currently serve in the Great Italy Rome Mission. I play the trumpet. I'm an Eagle Scout. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have played the trumpet since 5th grade, I volunteered at a local railroad park since the age of 5, I've been doing martial arts for over 10 years, and I'm serving in the Great Italy Rome Mission from May 2015-May 2017.

Why I am a Mormon

I didn't always know if this was the Church of Christ and I kind of just followed along using other people's testimonies as my backbone. It wasn't until my senior year of high school where I received a very definite answer from God that this is the true church with all the power and authority restored in fulness. My life has had several bumps, either by way of close deaths and interesting medical conditions, but through it all I've begun to more easily see the hand of God in my life and know that He really is there looking out for all of us, and that He really does have a plan for each and every one of us.

How I live my faith

I grew up a member of the church but was surrounded for the most part by people of other faiths. I strived to be a good example and to continuously better myself. Now I'm here in Italy wearing the name of Christ all day every day and striving to be a light to the world and an example of the believers.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Daniel
The Atonement of Christ was His suffering and afflictions in both the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross. It was His ultimate sacrifice for each and every one of else, where He suffered for not just our sins, but also our pains and trials and weaknesses, He suffered everything. He did so so that in our time of need He can come and help us out, because He knows everything that we're going through. That's why He suffered and died for us, so that He could pay the price that nobody else could and to be able to help us in our times of need. Show more Show less
