Hi I'm Chris Feinauer

I enjoy classic cars and home remodeling. I am a banker, and I am a Mormon!!!

About Me

I have five children who are all on their own in careers or graduate school, which makes me an empty nester. My favorite hobby is classic cars, which I love to view at car shows, or in my extensive car library. I also enjoy home remodeling, which my wife also shares, so we spend a lot of time visiting home shows to get ideas for our homes. I graduated from college in Business Management and am very involved with the University through the Alumni Association and the Management Society of the Business School. I enjoy networking and connecting with others, and have mentored many students and helped them with their careers.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was born my parents were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, so I have always been a Mormon! Following the Gospel of the Savior, Jesus Christ brings me happiness and gives me peace in my life. I always know that I can pray when I need help with difficulties, or when making critical decisions, such as a job change, or deciding how to help one of my children who needs advice. My Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are there to help me, and Christ's Atonement blesses me when I am in need. I experience peace in my life and feel complete because I have the teachings of the Church and the Gospel of Jesus Christ to guide me. I know with all my heart that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (the Mormon Church) is the true Church of Christ on the earth. The Church is here to help us all learn of the Savior Jesus Christ and live so that we can return to live with hHim and our Heavenly Father with our families.

How I live my faith

Living the Gospel of Jesus Christ is very important to me. I practice personal worship by praying, reading the scriptures, participating in church meetings, and attending the Temple regularly. The Church has given me many opportunities to serve others, which is very important to me. Currently, I serve by helping the Young Single Adults in my area, who are between the ages of 18 and 31. Young adults are anxious to have activities to meet and socialize with others their age and I enjoy being with them. We have special church units (Wards) just for these young adults, and in addition to Church meetings on Sunday, we have many activities during the week: sporting events and competitions, concerts, camping, special speakers, service projects, and lots of food!

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

Chris Feinauer
Because our bodies are so important and sacred, the Church has given us principles to live by that will help us keep our bodies healthy and strong. This allows us to be at our best, feel good and have sharp minds, which helps us be great in our jobs, and in being able to serve the Lord. I know that by living the Word of Wisdom, I have been blessed to be strong in body and mind. Here is how I live this law: 1) I work out every day by swimming or doing weight training 2) I drink a lot of water 3) I eat a lot of vegetables and fruits 4) I do not use anything that impairs my health (drugs, alcoholic drinks like wine and beer, coffee and tea). I know that by living this principle, my live has been blessed and I am strong, healthy, and able to work and serve people and contribute to my community. Show more Show less
