Hi I'm Averi

I have lived in Europe, North America, and Asia. I am the oldest of four kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been everywhere. I am obsessed with Anne of Green Gables. I love music (I play piano, saxophone, and vocals). I blog. I write. I make mistakes, and more mistakes, and even more mistakes. I look up to my parents as examples, and appreciate their testimonies of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. My parents were also raised in our faith. When I was eight years old I was baptized and since then have grown a testimony of our Savior, Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven. Throughout my life, the gospel has been the center of my world. In dark times I have been lifted up by Jesus. I see the Lord's hand in my life constantly. I strive to live an honest life and share the gospel as much as I can. I am a Mormon because I love Jesus and he loves me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through art, music, theatre, blogging, and school. I am an on again off again blogger and I often write about my testimony or an experience I had with the Holy Ghost that day. At school, I am over whelmed by peers asking me questions about our faith and I respond as heart wholly as I can. I share my testimony weekly and I am proud of it. Even when bullied for my love of the Savior, I stand up for him as he would do for me.

What is Mormonism? OR What do Mormons believe?

Averi
Mormonism in the belief that their is a GodHead of three individual characters, Heavenly Father, His son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. Mormons believe that there is a prophet living today, and the current church was restored by the Prophet Joseph Smith in 1830. Joseph Smith restored the gospel to the earth and was blessed with the sacred opportunity to recover the golden plates, and along with Oliver Cowdery, translate the Book of Mormon. We believe in the Bible as well but the Book of Mormon is standing faith of restored gospel. Show more Show less
