Hi I'm Austin

My name is Austin, I grew up in Utah and love being in the great outdoors and enjoying the beauty of it, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy being in the outdoors. I love to hike, ride my bike near nature trails, and simply enjoy the beauty of this earth. I love doing service and helping others. It brings me so much happiness when I am able to lighten somebody's burdens. I am the third child out of four children in my family. I was born into the LDS church to a very active family and we are all still active members in the church. I currently am serving a mission for the LDS church in the Argentina Resistencia mission.

Why I am a Mormon

First of all, I was born into the Church so I have always been a member but as I grew older, I began to understand more about the gospel through scripture study, prayer, and a strong desire to know if this is the true church. I received my answer about the truth of this church in my ninth grade year in junior high school. I read The Book of Mormon and prayed for a testimony that the book was true. When I got to Moroni chapter 10 verses 3-5, I felt the spirit so strongly and knew without a doubt that this is the true church upon the earth today. I am not perfect, I make mistakes time and time again. However, through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, I am able to move closer to Christ and my Heavenly Father and live a better, happier life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best to follow the example of my Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. I try my best to always render service and show love to my fellow men as he did. As I strive to follow the example of Christ, I feel joy in my own life when I help other people be happier and serve them.
