Hi I'm Ashley

I was born and raised in Utah. I'm a college student with a love for life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am Sophomore in college studying communications. I love hanging out with my family, lunch dates with my friends, movies, river rafting, and laughing! I like to do anything that involves other people, I am a hardcore extrovert. I don't think life should be taken too seriously, there is always someone to love, and something to laugh about!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon by some of the best parents around. My childhood was based around the teachings and standards of Latter-day Saints. It wasn't until I moved out on my own that I needed to find out for myself if I really did belong to the true church. I began to stray from the things I had been taught all my life, and all I reaped was unhappiness. I made a lot of mistakes, had a lot of regret, and felt confused. These feelings caused me to meet with my Bishop one Sunday, which was the best decision I've ever made. I came to him with a broken heart and a desire to change my life. We talked about my mistakes, my righteous desires, and my need to change. He then said four words that have changed my life forever. He said, "the Savior forgives you." It was in that moment that I was overcome with such powerful feelings of love, love that came from Jesus Christ. It was in that moment I knew without a doubt that I did indeed belong to the true church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This very love I felt is now my motivation to choose the right. Jesus Christ suffered for my sins, so that I could be forgiven and find happiness in this life. I am actively living to try to give back to Christ just a small portion of what He gave me. That is why I'm Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in my singles ward by fulfilling the calling of Sacrament Meeting Coordinator. This basically means I make and print the meeting program for each Sunday. I also love to go visiting teaching to sweet sisters in my Ward. I try to attend all the activities in my Ward like Family Home Evening, and temple trips.
