Hi I'm Rachel

I'm a Mormon but I am also a full-time working single mother of three little boys.

About Me

I have worked as a paralegal at an attorney's office for the past several years. I have three little boys Sebastian (5), Carson (almost 3) and Jeffrey (1). I am currently working on my Associate's in Arts degree. My ultimate career goal is to be an attorney. In my very limited free time I enjoy cooking, reading and spending time with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church on October 16, 2010. I grew up as the daughter of a Methodist minister. The missionaries who first introduced me to the church are some of the most amazing people I have ever met. Before joining I was not very knowledgeable about the church at all. Once I was introduced to the Book of Mormon I spent a lot of time praying about it and pondering about the course that my life should take. I can honestly say that being baptized is one of the most special things that has ever happened to me. This is not to say that since that day in October 2010 my life has been a breeze. It has been anything but that. However I take joy in knowing that God is the Almighty Father and Jesus Christ is the Son of God. The Holy Ghost provides me and my family with great comfort. I have also gained a sure and true knowledge that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that Thomas S. Monson is the President of the Church today. Everyday I strive to live up to the example that Jesus has set for us. Am I perfect? No I am not but Heavenly Father still loves me.

How I live my faith

I serve as my local church's librarian. This has provided me with the wonderful opportunity to talk and interact with just about everyone at the church.
