Hi I'm Vincent

I grew up in Hong Kong, born in a Mormon family. I love Hong Kong and I love the Church.

About Me

Hi I'm Vincent. I was born in Hong Kong and have lived in this tremendous city since then. I finished my undergraduate degree in The Chinese University of Hong Kong. It was a great experience for me to spend few years in it. I love music, especially classical music. I love playing the piano (my mom was my piano teacher!) and listening to music, while Beethoven, Mahler and Debussy are some of my favourite composers.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because following the Christ brings me peace and happiness. Living in this busy city, there are always things to worry about, but as I rely on Him, I know that things will be OK. I was born in an LDS family, but I have to choose the way I go. Through reading the scripture, praying, attending church meetings, going to the temple and living the gospel, the Spirit testifies to me that what I do is right, so I choose to stay. Learn the gospel and act upon it, you will see the difference.

How I live my faith

I went to the chapel in Kwun Tong when I was young, and I was so excited when we could finally have our chapel in Tseung Kwan O, where I have lived since I was two. Everyone serves in the LDS church, so do I. I have been serving as a pianist for many years, and I have had many great experiences. For many times, the Spirit touched me when I was performing my duty and I felt that my Heavenly Father accepted my service. I really love this calling as I can help others feel the joy, happiness and the Spirit through music. I also taught the young men in Tsueng Kwan O and planned activities for young people in Hong Kong. Spending time with teenagers was always happy and it can help me forget my own problems.
