Hi I'm Jake

I was born and raised in Utah. I was a 5 sport High School athlete. I love the outdoors. I played College Football. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up playing in the outdoors. From organized sports to camping and just playing in the mud! I was blessed to play College Football. I'm now about to serve a mission in California, speaking Spanish. I love my family and friends. And I'm excited to serve my Lord for two years.

Why I am a Mormon

So although I was born in to a Mormon family. It wasn't until I was older that I truly started to understand what it meant to be LDS. I now am so great full that I was able to hear the teachings and doctrine that the Church preaches. I'm glad to know that Heavenly Father is real and loves me as does his son Jesus Christ. I'm glad to have the Holy Ghost with me to help me denser right from wrong. I know that through this Church I will be able to return to live with my Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

I was raised going to church with my family. A lot of people would say I was born a Mormon, but no one is really born a Mormon. Each individual has the choice of excepting its teachings. So although I have gone for my whole life, I to had to be "converted" to the church. I have loved every minute of it too. The mid-week activities that you do with the other kids your age forge a strong bond of friendship and teach you life skills to make you a better person. Now I will be able to share God's Plan with others for the next two years.
