Hi I'm Katrina

I grew up in Idaho and Utah. I am very family oriented. I am a passionate Artist, and I love to laugh. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a very large family. I am one of 14. I grew up very active in dance, track, musicals and plays. my parents own a goat dairy so I grew up going to fairs and riding horses. I love horses. When I was younger I experienced a fall of 25 feet. Because of this experience I experienced a traumatic brain injury. So I have tried throughout my life to be normal like other people. However I have realized throughout my life that this is who the Savior wants me to be. It has helped show me that I can overcome anything that I face if I keep my eye single to the Glory of God. I am an Artist. I love painting anything! I am really good at abstract! Painting is definitely my passion. If you ever need a friend or a good time or someone to make you laugh, or someone to help you out I will always be there for you.

Why I am a Mormon

Throughout my life I have always been looking for a purpose. I've always wanted to understand why I am the way I am. Why did the things happen to me that happened when I was younger? As I searched for the answers to these questions and many more I went to different denominations. None of them felt right, or could answer all of my questions. I was given the opportunity to read the Book of Mormon and start attending the LDS church. I asked the Bishop some of my questions and he started out "I can"t answer all your questions; but you have a Father in Heaven that loves you unconditionally. If you ask Him your questions and have faith in Him, He will answer your questions." It shocked me that all I had to do was ask a Father in Heaven that truly loved me. So I went home that night, and asked the Man that the Bishop called my Father the questions that had been nagging at my soul. They were not answered all at once, but through time and diligent study and obedience to God's commandments I was given the answers that my heart had longed for my whole life. I know that if you come to know your Father in Heaven that loves you, your questions will be answered just like mine.

How I live my faith

As a missionary of the Church I have had the amazing opportunity to use my talent of ASL. As of right now I am teaching an ASL class teaching those with a speech impediment or those who just want to learn ASL. As I have kept active in the Church it has helped me become who I am. It has shown me how to love unconditionally, and develop and share my talents with those around me. I am very outgoing in all the things I do, and the Savior has shown me that I can do anything I chose to do.
