Hi I'm Michelle

I was born into a Mormon Family, 3rd Daughter out of 4 Daughters and 1 Son, my Brother, born almost 10 years later than myself.

About Me

I am a 55 year old Daughter, Wife, Mother and Grandmother. I have had Type 1 Diabetes since November 1967. I love crocheting Doilies. My hands fail me currently because of Arthritis. I look forward to easing back into it. I am a Computer and Tech NUT. I have a Church Calling for creating the Weekly Ward Bulletin for Sacramento Meeting. I as currently awaiting the arrival of our 11th Grandchild, 4th Grandson in May 2015. I love my Family! My children are all nearby and I see them as often as health permits. I am disabled with many diseases. I believe it is God's way to protect me from many of the outside forces because I am so naïve. I have learned much in my life through many challenges. I am married to a wonderful Husband. He married me after my First Husband left. He honors his Priesthood and is always ready to give me a Priesthood Blessing when I ask. I admire him for this. He is a Ward Missionary and goes on splits with the Missionaries assigned to our Ward. I love my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is my Rock and my Foundation. This is the most important thing for all Members and Non-Members alike to remember. If your Foundation is Jesus Christ, the rest falls into place. There isn't anything that you cannot endure. When life throws me challenges, I am learning to do all I can, then turning everything else over to the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. I know that Joseph Smith was called to be a Prophet of God in the 1800's. I know that Joseph Smith's Vision of God, Our Heavenly Father and His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ is true. I know this from personal revelation that I have received as answers to Personal Prayers. I know that the Book of Mormon was translated by the Power of God, through Joseph Smith. I know that the Book of Mormon is true after reading and praying for personal revelation of it's Truthfulness. I know that the Book of Mormon is a 'Second Testament of the Bible' and is a history of the People on this, the American Continent. I write this and say these things in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by learning to accept responsibilities asked of me and being obedient to the Laws and Commandments of God. I AM NOT PERFECT. I do sin and have to repent. This is the most exciting part of our beliefs. Jesus Christ Atoned for our sins so that we can Repent, go to Church, partake of the Sacramento Weekly, and our sins are forgiven us, making us pure again in the sight of God. I love helping people, especially my Family. I have many things to still learn. I have been a Member all my life, but I didn't have a Testimony of God until I prayed and received a personal revelation that God is real, he knows me and he loves me. I have had many callings serving the youth of the Church. All the way from 18 months to 18 years. I have also had musical responsibilities, playing the piano for services, playing the organ a few times and leading the music in the Young Children's Organization. I also was given the task of teaching youth ages 12-17 how to dance in a huge Dance Festival on 2 separate occasions, 8 years apart. I have fond memories of working, teaching and loving each of these unique Young Men and Women. They brought the Light of the Gospel into my life, as I served them.
