Hi I'm Sid

I love watching movies, wearing Crocs, and eating Mac and Cheese. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of four kids. I love spending time with my family and friends and love laughing and telling jokes. I am in college, planning to major in either Accounting or Marketing, but like any other student, I still don't know exactly what I want to do with my life. I enjoy basketball, tennis, baseball, and dancing. However, just because I enjoy them doesn't mean I am very good!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I can feel comforted and joyful through the things I do for my religion. I have the privilege of knowing that my family can be together forever. I know that God is always looking out for us, and wants us to have the best of every situation. He does not give us any trials that we are not strong enough to handle. I am a Mormon because I know the Book of Mormon is true, and that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is also true. I am grateful for everything that God has given me, and grateful that he sent his son Jesus Christ to be an example of how to live. I know that if we live according to this example that Jesus left for us, that we may be able to live with God again after we die. Having a testimony of these things brings me comfort. I am comforted knowing the God loves me, and am comforted knowing that I have the chance to live with God, and my family forever. Every feeling I've ever felt about this church simply just makes me feel good. Many worries are calmed, and doubts are cleared. I am very grateful for the organization of this church, which has lead me to learn so many things. I want to share the feelings I have felt, and openly invite all to come unto Christ through the restored gospel on the earth.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday I go to church for only a few hours. Currently, I am a chorister for the opening songs of one of my meetings. I don't have any previous music leading skills, or much musical talent for that matter, but I still have fun trying to lead the music. When I go to church I feel happy. I get a warm, fuzzy feeling inside, that sometimes makes me cry (but always happy tears). Whenever I need something I know I can ask anyone in my ward, and there would be many who are willing to help, and I would do anything to help as well. Every day, I read my scriptures and communicate with my Heavenly Father through prayer. When I am doing all these things I feel at peace. I know that when I do these things, and put complete trust in my Heavenly Father and his Son, Jesus Christ, that I will be blessed and comforted by the Holy Ghost at all times. I am very grateful for this gospel.
