Hi I'm Danilo Feth

Grew up in Canada, eh? I'm a runner, I'm a badminton player, I love astronomy, I'm a missionary for the Church and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, but so our family could have a better opportunity in life, our parents decided to move to Quebec, Canada. I learned French as a second language all throughout Middle and High School and learned English as a third language thanks to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I've played the electric guitar for around 5 years now and I love everything about it. Touching an electric guitar immediately puts me 'in the zone' and allows me to express some feelings, to meditate and get my thoughts straight and simply get lost in the music. There's nothing like playing that guitar solo you've been wanting to play ever since you were a kid or going to a music studio with my older brother, who plays the drums, and just make some noise! I grew up in a faithful Mormon family consisted of my two parents and six kids. I'm the third oldest and I can't describe how much love I have for everyone in my family. They've always been super supportive of everything I did and I know we'll always be supportive of each other no matter what happens. All throughout High School I've been playing badminton and I love everything about it. It can be the most relaxing sport on the earth or the most competitive and exhausting sport as well. I also did a few years of Cross Country because I love running, especially around nature. I was called to serve a mission in the Canada Montreal Mission. I hope to be married in the Temple for all eternity after my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have found joy in living the ways of the Gospel of Christ. I have found answers to the most important questions I have ever had: Is there really a God? Does he know us? What does He want of me? What are my priorities in life and how do I want to live? I can testify that God really does live, that he knows each and every single one of us. I'm absolutely crazy for astronomy and have been ever since I can remember. In the massiveness of the Universe, out of all the stars that are billions of times bigger than our sun, out of all these billions of galaxies out there, gigantic black wholes, nebulae, supernovas and everything else that has been created by His hands, not only does he know us fragile human beings by name, we're his most loved creation. He loves us, he knows us better than we know ourselves. That love I feel for Him is what makes me want to be the best I can. People say Sciences and Religion can't go together, I feel the opposite. Every time I look through a telescope into the vastness of space I feel my Savior's love. I have received a testimony of my own. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I know Thomas S. Monson is a living prophet and that he receives revelation for the whole world. I know how much joy the Gospel has brought me and that is the reason why I'm currently serving a Mission: so I can share this happiness with others who are looking for the truth.

How I live my faith

I've always lived my faith by going to church every Sunday, where I can learn more about Christ and be taught about what the Lord would have me do. I fell in love with reading the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon, where I learn more about my purpose in life and how I can be of help to everyone around me. I pray to my Father in Heaven daily to thank for the many blessings I have received in my life or to ask Him some more specific things I'm in need of and I know He hears me pray and answers my prayers. I have chosen to serve the Lord by dedicating two years of my life to helping others, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serving everyone I can around me.
