Hi I'm Ronald DuPont

I am a jokester. I love feeding my turkeys. I take care of every one I can. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up Protestant in a little town in Pennsylvania. When I was twenty I moved up to New York to work at a hospital as a lab technician. There I met my wife. I joined the Catholic Church so that our family could have one faith. I wasn't getting what I felt I needed spiritually there. One day we were introduced to the missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. After a few months of prayer and study, we new that the message they bore was true. We joined the church and have been faithful for 41 years.

Why I am a Mormon

The Holy Ghost testified to me that the Savior has reestablished his church on the Earth in these days. I know that that is true, and I know that God knows that I know. I am so very blessed to know that my family has been sealed together for time and eternity by the authority that our Father in Heaven gives to His children to act in His name. I have found innumerable blessings in this church and through following its teachings, which are the teaching of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a Bishop in the ward where I live. I have been called to serve in many different positions to help the Saints and the communities in the surrounding areas. I am actively engaged with helping the young missionaries with their work of bringing others into the Gospel. I love to serve everyone I can. The prophets have counseled us to be prepared for any circumstance, so my wife and I are very involved in getting food storage and other emergency supplies. I know that Jesus is the Christ and I try to help everyone I can receive that message.
