Hi I'm Alma

I grew up my first 10 years in Ohio then moved out to family in Wyoming where I went to high school and graduated. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I consider my self a 50/50 blend of a city boy and a farm boy since I've spent about half my life in urban areas and the other on a ranch. I'm planning of going to college either at Wyoming University or BYU Idaho for computer science after I'm off of my mission. I grew up in a large family and have lived near my extended family for most of my life. I really enjoy sports especially basketball. All of my brothers and sisters as well of many of my cousins often play basketball at family gatherings.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the LDS church of my whole life, and not once have I seriously wished that I was not one. Ya there have been many times that I have thought to myself that it would be nice not having higher standards, but then I always remind myself that this life is for me to grow stronger. I have started to not look at my higher standards to not be a burden, but rather a part of my life. I enjoy the constant clean conscience of having the knowledge that I could be clean and spotless before the lord through the atonement. I am a sinner and without the gospel in my life I would fell lost. With the gospel I can have my sins washed away.I am glad that I am a member of the LDS church and I cannot imagine my life without the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I participate in several ward activities. I have helped in almost every eagle scout project that other ward members have set up. I home teach with my father to three different families. Since I have been preparing to go on a mission, I've been talking during church several times at different places to both help me prepare to serve and to gain a better testimony of the gospel.
