Hi I'm Adam

I pluck the acoustical guitar. I'm a skater. Blue October, Blink 182, Brand New. Of course, I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in a small town called Melba! (This thing says not to enter details about you location, but hey) As a young'un, I helped my father out around the farm and enjoyed my time with as many sports as I could. I'm not any good, but I love ice hockey, baseball, football, and online chess. Between all of that, I love playing guitar. My guitars name is Ava and we have had some pretty good times together, but we don't have time to talk all about that. If I find a weekend in the winter, you might just catch me up on Bogus Basin snowboarding, too. Mowing my lawn was a common passtime. It takes 47 minutes on a good day. I was hit by a car once. My friends and I enjoy camping, recording music, going to bounce houses, and just shootin the breeze.

Why I am a Mormon

Being raised LDS, I took it a bit for granted. About halfway through my High School education, I was around friends and environments that made me question if the whole 'Mormon' thing was for me. I spent the remainder of my high school years still trying to figure all of it out, but I decided that I would live it all until I could disprove it. Little by little my testimony grew. Passing up parties down by the river, choosing the right friends, and many other little factors added to the foundation I always had. I never had the heavens open before me, or felt the earth quake from below, but my testimony has grown firm over time. God knows, and loves us all. Jesus Christ is his son, sent to redeem us from our sins and strengthen us in our times of weakness. Joseph Smith is a prophet called of God. I'd stand with that man anytime, anywhere.

How I live my faith

Buenos. I live my faith by simply trying my best every day. Not perfect, probably not going to be for the next chunk of time, but through the atonement of Christ, I can keep on a trying. As a kid, I loved the service projects we did in youth group. To this day, I try to find opportunities to serve whenever I can. Sometimes that ends up just being a smile or a hey. Other times it may result in someone entering the waters of baptism for the remission of their sins. Oh yeah, at the moment I'm serving as a missionary in southern Georgia, too. I'm at the point of my mission where I don't receive many emails or letters, hence why I'm creating this profile today!
