Hi I'm Madeleine

I was born and raised in Utah. I'm an actress, singer, horse trainer, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am in the process of earning a bachelor's degree in Equine Science and Management. I also love to act, sing, draw, and express myself in other ways. I love spending time outside whether riding horses, hiking or simply walking with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the teachings of the church ring true in my mind as well as in my heart, and they truly bring me closer to my Savior Jesus Christ. I am happier living by the guidelines and teachings of this church than I could be without it! I feel God's love as I learn of His divinity through church meetings, events, and service opportunities.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying each day to be a better disciple of Christ. One of the things I've decided to do to live my faith is to serve a mission for the church. As a full-time Missionary, I will spend my days teaching others about Christ an inviting them to come to Him. I am so excited to dedicate all of my time and energies toward bringing others to know the love of God and the mercy of our Savior.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Madeleine
All Mormons are human beings, and all human beings are flawed and imperfect. The only exception to this universal truth is the Son of God, our Savior Jesus Christ. Because we are all spotted by sin, mistakes, shortcomings, and failures, God sent someone to help us rise above our imperfection, and indeed to rescue us from sin. Through His son Jesus Christ, Heavenly Father has provided a way to satisfy the demands of both justice and mercy. He loves us so dearly that He sent His son to bear the weight of our sins and pave the way to salvation for each of us. We each need a Savior because we, in our imperfection, cannot bear that weight or pave that path for ourselves. The Atonement of the Savior makes repentance possible and allows us to be cleansed of our sins and become clean enough to return to our Father in Heaven. We would be lost, sunken, and desperate were it not for the Savior and His Atonement. Show more Show less
