Hi I'm Brandon

I love making friends, I love music, I'm a missionary, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Before I came out on my mission I loved nothing more than hanging with my friends. I also played trumpet in lots of different jazz bands and groups that performed in places all around the world, including the LDS conference center. I love movies, video games and eating food. I am currently serving in the Michigan Detroit mission, and loving it so much!

Why I am a Mormon

The LDS church has helped me so much. Serving others is the key to happiness, and the church has shown me that. Being able to help others - with church related matters or not - is what I believe is the right thing to do. My parents raised me in the church and taught me the things that I believe to be true, and I want other people to learn the same. The church has helped me live a happy life!

How I live my faith

As a missionary I'm serving other people every day. I shovel walks, ride my bike, and teach lots of different people. I serve because it's what I believe is right, and it makes me so happy.

Who was Joseph Smith?

Joseph was a humble man who God called in 1820 to be a prophet in the "latter days." He was the prophet to restore ancient truths that were lost after the original church of Jesus Christ was dissolved. He was the one to organize The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints under the direction of Christ Himself. Without Joseph Smith, God's children would forever continue to "wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it" (Amos 8:12). He was called to organize the church again so "we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;" (Ephesians 4:14). Without Joseph Smith, truths that allow us to be eternally happy with our families would not be on the earth, and people would continue to wander search through countless churches and bibles unable to find the true fullness of the gospel.
