Hi I'm Lysette

I grew up in Hudson, Massachusetts and moved to Harrisburg, North Carolina when I was 16. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I really enjoy running, and also organizing things to just make them have a neater profile. Right now I'm attending BYU-Idaho, but sadly this is my last semester here and next year I am moving to Salt Lake City to attend LDS Business College and start my career as a dental hygienist.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of the church, but went inactive for a few years because of the friends I was surrounding myself were all non-members and made it hard for me to want to continue in my faith. Moving out to BYUI was one of the best things I ever did for myself, and was something that really helped me strengthen my testimony and remember that I am a daughter of God, and He wants a different life for me than the one I was living.

How I live my faith

Right now, I have the calling as the Gospel Doctrine teacher for my ward. It was an extremely hard calling to accept, just because of the fact I'm one of the youngest people in my ward and felt like I wasn't qualified to teach all these older people. I have grown to love my calling, because of the blessings I receive out of it, along with the chance to study my scriptures more and understand them with a deeper knowledge.
