Hi I'm Elder Grant Just!

My name is Grant and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently serving in the Rome, Italy Mission for 2015-2017. I grew up in a Navy family, so I've been around the block a bit. I lived here in Italy when I was a child, so I was pretty stoked to go back! I believe in serving God, my country, and my family. The Church is true.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Mormon, and decided it was the right thing for me. I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I go to Church every Sunday! I pray every day! I see someone in need, I help them! If someone needs a friend, I'm there for them! It don’t care what there beliefs are, where they come from, or what they do. Jesus Christ set the example for us. I'm not the perfect man he was, but I try.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Elder Grant Just!
Mormons believe in Jesus Christ, and that he is the Son of God. They believe he lived a perfect life as an example for all of us to follow. They believe that Jesus Christ suffered and was crucified for our sins, so that if we have faith in Him and repent, ( the way he taught us to repent), that we can be forgiven from of sins. We believe that Jesus was resurrected, and because of that we will all be resurrected after we die too. We believe that Jesus Christ lives today, and leads his Church through modern Apostles and Prophets. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about family?

Elder Grant Just!
Mormons believe family is the best and most important thing. They believe God, ordained the family as a basic social unit, consisting of a Father and Mother, and children. Mormons believe this unit brings the most joy and true happiness in our lives. Mormons also believe that God prepared a way for our families to be inseparable after death, and that they can live together for eternity. It's a pretty big thing for us. Show more Show less

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

Elder Grant Just!
The 1/10th of Mormons' income/earnings go to funding the building of the Kingdom of God. Namely, Church buildings, missionary programs, humanitarian efforts, education, and many more awesome things. It is never used to pay people in leadership/serving positions of the Church. Show more Show less
