Hi I'm Faith

I am from Utah! I finished one year of BYU and am now serving in the California Los Angeles Mission. I'm a (very typical) Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of 8 kids, which can get crazy, but mostly is just a party. We love to play games and go to the movies together. I was studying Art History at BYU and can't decide what I want to do with it. I was called to serve a Spanish speaking mission in California, and also to serve at the LA Temple Visitors' Center. I love it! My biggest dream is to travel to all the Visitors' Centers in the world and to go to lots of art museums along the way. I also hope to have a big family of my own someday:)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this gospel makes me happy. It means I can live with my family for eternity. One of my sisters passed away when she was two, although we miss our little Joy all the time, I know I get to see her again because of the Plan of Salvation. Our Heavenly Father loves us and created a way for us to be with our families forever. I know this is true, nothing else could bring me so much peace in my life. I know that because Heavenly Father loves us, he sent us Jesus Christ to atone for our sins and feel all our sorrows and pain. I know Christ knows and loves me personally, and that he wants me to choose righteousness so I can live with our Father in Heaven once again.

How I live my faith

Before my mission, I lead the women's organization (called Relief Society) in my college congregation and helped the girls in my ward feel the love of the Savior. Now I'm serving a mission and get to help the people of Los Angeles feel the love of the Savior!!! My faith is really strengthened as I read the scriptures, pray, and go to church. I also really feel that I am living my faith as I share my testimony and hear the testimonies of others.
