Hi I'm Alexis

I have lived in California, Hawaii, and Utah. I am studying at BYU to be a personal trainer. I love being outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to travel and be outdoors. I am currently in college studying exercise and wellness and will soon be a personal trainer. In my free time I love exercising, visiting family, cooking, and being outside. I currently work in a physical therapy office where I help people return to full health after injury and I love it.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother is a convert to the church and her and my father raised me and my two siblings in the church. As I grew up with this wonderful gospel as a part of my life I have come to know of its truthfulness. It is what brings me the most happiness in my life. I have been sick and the power of the priesthood has healed me. I have had my prayers answered and I have been guided when I have needed to make decisions. I am a Mormon because I know that Christ lives and loves us and restored His gospel to the earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith and I know this gospel continues through our living prophet today. I have felt my Heavenly Father's love for me and I know he wants me to be happy and I know this can be achieved through living the gospel.

How I live my faith

I serve with the people around me here at my school and I love it. I am currently serving with a group in my ward who works with family history to find ancestors and build family trees online. We hold meetings every week open to anyone and we get together and work on our own family history. Sometimes we are able to find ancestors who have not had their ordinances done within the church and we are able to take their names to the temple and do work for them so that they can receive the blessings of the gospel even thought they have past on. I love serving in this way and I love learning about my ancestors and my heritage because it is what makes me who I am.
