Hi I'm Elder Jerran Cook

I am a military dependant, I love math and science and am studying engineering, I am serving a mission to Alaska, I am a mormon

About Me

I love math and science and plan on becoming an aeronautical engineer. Since my father is in the Air Force we have lived all across the United States and even in Germany which has been a great experience and allowed me to meet many people of diverse backgrounds. I wasn't all that social but now that I am serving as a missionary I have to lay that aside to share the gospel with everyone. It is especially neat to find people who are looking to learn more and be able to show them how they can find the complete gospel and the peace that come with knowing who we are and why we are here.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised by faithful parents and my testimony grew as I traveled and met members and I want to continue to meet members and share my faith and beliefs in Christ. I love the peace that comes from knowing our purpose in life including God's plan for our happiness which tells us what came before this life and what comes after. I also love the personal relationship we can have with God and his son Jesus Christ as we come to know their true natures. I want to continue to follow Christ's example and that is why I chose to serve a mission and that's why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am serving in the Anchorage, Alaska Mission to share my testimony with those I meet.
