Hi I'm Paulette

I grew up in Utah, spent 18 years in Colorado, and currently live in Southern Idaho.

About Me

I had a nonmember father and a less active mother so there was no church activity as a young child. Because I had been blessed as a baby by someone in the LDS church, I was on the records. I am thankful for home teachers who considered me as a "project" and visited our home to invite me to be baptized. There were several from the area that made the trip that day to the Tabernacle on Temple Square in Salt Lake. The same group was confirmed the following Sunday. My church activity was sparse but during my teen years I made friends with girls from special families who were very active and very aware of my needs. Those families gave me a glimpse of what I wanted when I was married and had my own family. I was blessed to meet and marry someone who had the same goals. We have enjoyed the blessings of the gospel as we raised our four special children.

Why I am a Mormon

I can honestly say that my Heavenly Father has always known what would be best for me and has made sure that blessings would come my way. Just as He made sure I was baptized, He has helped me to realize that Jesus is my Savior and that they both love and continue to look after my every need. The truthfulness of the Gospel and of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints grows each day. My husband and I are currently serving as Missionaries and are excited to share the blessing with others.

How I live my faith

During the fifty years of marriage I have enjoyed working in and being part of the many organizations of my church. There has been times that I have felt incapable of the task. However, with support from good leaders and other members, I have gained so much from the opportunities that were offered and hope that I have given back in some small way. Just being a member of our woman's organization has helped with all aspects of being a homemaker and with helping to strengthen my testimony.
