Hi I'm Shae

I am Canadian, I love and have a testimony of the LDS Church, I'm an athlete, coach, and gymnastics judge, and I Am A Mormon.

About Me

I Love Gymnastics! I Love Running! I Love my family! I Love this Gospel! A motto i live by is "If You're Going To Do A Job, Do It Right!' working hard to reach our goals should be a big part of our life's. I've graduated high school, and am now preparing to go on a mission to salt lake city, temple square.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints because i have read the Book Of Mormon, and have prayed to know that it is true, my witness to the truthfulness of this gospel was not anything big, but it is a continual confirmation from the spirit that knowing what i am saying when baring my testimony, when listening to others talk about there faith, when studying the Book of Mormon or when attending my church meetings. Because I know this church is true, i am going on a mission to help others come unto Christ, and help them gain a testimony just as i have gained of this Gospel.

How I live my faith

I strive to be a good example to others, by each day trying to become closer to christ and develop christ like attributes. I attend a young single adult branch in my town, where i have a calling to teach sunday school, this calling has been such a testimony builder for me because i have been able to share my what i know, what i believe, and what i hope to be true with my friends. teaching this class i have probably learned more myself then anyone in the class.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Shae
"A testimony is a spiritual witness given to an individual by the Holy Ghost" we can have a testimony of so many different things, to have the start of a testimony of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, is to know "Heavenly Father lives and loves us; that Jesus Christ lives, that He is the Son of God, and that He carried out the infinite Atonement; that Joseph Smith is a prophet, which God called to restore Jesus Christ’s church to the earth; that we are led today by a living prophet; and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Saviour’s Church restored on the earth today." If you have the desire to know, i challenge you to engage yourself in the study of The Book Of Mormon, and to then pray to know if it is true. Show more Show less
