Hi I'm Kendal

I was born and raised in Montana. I'm serving a mission in the Barbados Bridgetown Mission, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am junior in college at BYU, studying Mathematics Education. My dream is to become a mother, as well as a high school calculus teacher. I was born and raised in Billings, Montana. I love snowboarding, wakeboarding, playing softball, and anything outside! I also love art! I love painting, and I love to study art and art history. I am currently serving a mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Barbados Bridgetown Mission, speaking French.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a testimony of the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of the world, and that He leads His church. I believe that the Prophet Joseph Smith was called and ordained by God, and that Jesus Christ restored His church and priesthood authority to the earth through Joseph Smith.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by continually striving to better myself. I try to focus less on myself by serving and caring for those around me. I live my faith through obedience to commandments of God.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

The Word of Wisdom is a set of commandments revealed to the Prophet Joseph Smith regarding the sanctification of our physical bodies. Our bodies are sacred, and what we put into our bodies affects how we feel both physically and spiritually. When we monitor what we intact into our bodies, and if we live in accordance with the Word if Wisdom, our bodies become sanctified and conducive to feeling the Spirit of the Lord. Show more Show less
