Hi I'm Scott Liddiard

I grew up in Utah. I have lived in Eagle Mountain for most of my life. I enjoy the gospel, it brings me happiness. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love playing and listening to jazz music! I enjoy listening to lots of different styles of music as well. I enjoy performing and being around people. I grew up playing video games and I enjoy playing them with my brothers and friends. I really enjoy geeking out about many different kinds of subjects ranging from superheros, video games, television shows, and many more. Puns are a must in regular conversation. I enjoy having a good pen in my hand so I like using fountain, calligraphy, and other dip pens. I enjoy using them and trying new inks and figuring out what I like most about the different kinds of pens. Writing comes more easily when I have something fun to write with. I plan on going to college and going into the medical field. I enjoy the gospel and it is something that has brought me true joy and comfort.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and my parents raised me in it. For a while I just went through the motions. Then I started to notice that I wasn't as happy when I didn't exactly listen to what I was being told. Then I decided to change and be more attentive to the gospel. From my increased activity I have been able to find more happiness and learn what I need to do to be more happy and to make others feel happy. This gospel has brought me true joy in a way I don't think that the world can offer. God helps me overcome my mistakes and I am glad to have his guidance. I know that I can be happy by listening to what God wants for me.

How I live my faith

I study the scriptures and I attend church every Sunday. I am one of the leaders in my youth group and it is enjoyable to help plan and carry out events. I attend Seminary to learn more about the scriptures and it is a way to learn and achieve greater understanding of doctrine. I do my best to listen to my parents and the council of others. I don't enjoy making mistakes, but I am willing to admit them. That makes it easier to overcome them. I love my family greatly and they bring me much joy.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Scott Liddiard
Yes. The prophet is a man called of God just as Moses was. The prophet teaches us the Gospel of Christ. He has divine authority with the power to perform all that is necessary for the church's welfare. The word of God comes from him in this day. We need to know God's will and be able to learn what he would have us do. We learn his will through the prophets. Show more Show less
