Hi I'm Adam

I was born and live in England and I am proud to be British. I am a Quantity surveyor, an author, skateboarder and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in the seaside town of Scarborough in the north east of England. I love skateboarding, and playing video games in my spare time. I am obsessed with the Halo series and love first person shooters and Sci- Fi. I also enjoy reading and writing my own science fiction. I am currently training to work as a construction surveyor and spend a lot of time travelling between home and London where I have been offered work as a catalogue model. I have 4 siblings I am a relatively new convert to the church and the only Mormon in my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I had always considered myself a Christian but coming from a none religious family I had never dedicated myself to one denomination or another. Whilst casually researching on the internet I came across the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I ordered a copy of the Book of Mormon and when reading it I immediately felt the truth in what was written. From here i spent more and more time researching the church and came to feel a deep connection between the church and my own beliefs. As time went on I began to gain my own testimony of the truth of the church through prayer and study of the Scriptures. What started as a secular interest became a deep rooted belief in the truth of the gospel. I know that the Church is true, and I invite everyone to seek the truth for themselves.

How I live my faith

I live my life in a way which I feel would best honour our father in Heaven. None of us are perfect but I try my best to live the commandments, to serve others and my community. I try to get out as often as i can to teach with other members and meet with those who cant always make it to church. Whenever i get some free time i also head out with the local missionaries to share my experience of conversion and help others to come into the community the same way I did.
