Hi I'm Matthew Adam Loynd

Born in Idaho but raised in Port Orchard Washington. Now serving in the Missouri Independence mission, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love anything art! From drawing and painting, musical theater, Music, woodworking, just name it! I also love to go hiking or just walks around town. I love working on cars and any kind of mechanical or electronic items.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family who is strong in the faith but ultimately I decided that this was the true church after taking some time to search the doctrines we teach and reading the Book of Mormon and pondering these teachings. I then asked our Father in Heaven if all these things were true, and I was responded with a feeling of warmth that can't be copied by anything else. Now I KNOW that this is the Church of Jesus Christ, and that there are prophets who are called of God to lead and guide his church on this earth. Why would God cease to give us more scriptures and cease to talk to us but he gives scriptures to those in the primitive church and would talk to them? He wouldn't. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever and he loves everyone! He gave us the Book of Mormon as a second witness that Jesus really is the Christ and that through him we may return to our father in heaven!

How I live my faith

Serves is a great way to show our love for everyone around us. I love to go and help with our church when we do our annual community clean up. I have also been involved with special Olympics, and I am now on a mission where I help people receive help and gain more of a testimony of our savior Jesus Christ.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Matthew Adam Loynd
In order to grow faith you must first show your faith. It is like using your muscles. When you exercise your muscle is torn and then grows and gets bigger and stronger. When we act in faith, looking towards the future with a brightness of hope, and take that step, believing that Christ will illuminate the way, we come to realize that Christ will always be with us.
