Hi I'm Robert

I grew up in Utah, recently moved to Arizona, and I am leaving soon to serve a mission in Jacksonville, Florida, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an 18 year old that just graduated from High School. I enjoyed Track and Swimming in High School and I play the Viola. I love to go Camping, Fishing, Hiking, and sleeping outside in my Hammock. I have worked for a Disaster Clean up Company, and I've been a Courtesy Clerk at Fry's Grocery Store. I have 1 brother and two sisters and I live in Arizona.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I still had to come to gain my own Testimony. I read the Book of Mormon, and prayed, and felt the Holy Ghost Testify to me that it was true. I think I have always known it was true. Keeping the Commandments gives me freedom, and makes me happy. I am Mormon because when times get hard, I can gain peace through prayer, and the Spirit. I know I can do all things that are placed before me when I know that I am living in accordance with Christ's teachings.

How I live my faith

Church is a big part of my life. Everything I do revolves around my belief in Christ and his plan for me. I attend meetings on Sunday, and participate with my Family in Family Home Evenings on Monday night. I have participated in my church youth group by attending activities. I have been an active member of the Boy Scouts of America troop that is associated with my church group. I have been a cub scout, a boy scout and a venture scout. I just completed my Eagle Scout Project. As a youth leader, I have helped organize activities in my ward and stake for the youth, done service projects, and with a companion, have been a home teacher. I have gone to the homes of others to help them learn how to research their ancestors as a Family History Consultant. Being an active member of my ward brings me peace, comfort, and support as I try to better myself. It has truly shaped my character.
