Hi I'm Bailey

I am a photographer. I love a good adventure. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Im 19 and grew up in sin city, but have never had a drink in my life and that's the way I like it. I have been attending Brigham Young University Idaho to receive a Bachelors in Visual Communications, so I can go on to become a professional photographer. I love playing volleyball and have been playing for 7 years now. I also enjoy serving others and seeing God's hand in my everyday life. I love life, enjoying a good laugh and this gospel, that brings me closer to my Savior. My life isn't perfect, but I'm perfectly happy with that.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true and restored Gospel on this earth. I have prayed and received a confirmation that it is true and have seen many blessings come because of it. I am a Mormon because I want to be a better person. I know the doctrine that is taught is meant to bring a greater understanding of true happiness. Because of my knowledge of this gospel I know I am living a happier life. I am a Mormon because I know without this gospel I could never reach my full potential. Not to mention the friendships I've gained from working with uplifting and happy people in my callings in this church. I am a Mormon and no matter what I will always love this gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading my scriptures daily as well as praying to my Heavenly Father morning and night. That's always the best part of my day. He really is there to listen to us. I attend my Sunday church meeting and there I reflect on my previous week and I set a goal for the next week so that I can strive to become a better person. I also try and make service and charity the a top priority on my list of things to do. I have graduated from seminary, a four year program, in which we study the Old Testament, New Testament, The Doctrine and Covenants and the Book of Mormon. And all of that started at 5:50 in the morning, before school started and I loved it. I knew if i missed a day of seminary that my day wasn't going to be quite the same. I am currently serving a mission and was called to the Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar for 18 months. I am working hard to learn the Mongolian language. My testimony of this Gospel grows each day as I turn to my Heavenly Father in the times where I'm struggling.
