Hi I'm Andrew Armstrong

I am 20 years old, I love all of God's beautiful creations, and I'm a mormon

About Me

At this moment I am serving in the best mission in the world, the Virginia Chesapeake Mission. It has been a huge growing experience for me and I am very grateful to have been able to serve in this beautiful part of the country. I love listening to most all genres of music. As well as listening to music I love to play music, especially jazz. I enjoy learning how to play all sorts of different instruments and also learning different languages. I speak Spanish and I love all of the different Spanish cultures. In my free time I also like to do calligraphy. Family is the most important thing in my life and I enjoy spending quality time with them whether we are playing a board game or playing soccer in the park. I am a son of faithful parents who have taught me about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am also a son of a loving Heavenly Father and I am grateful for all he has given me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because my parents taught me about the teachings of Jesus and when I was eight years old I was baptized. I continue to be a Mormon because of my love for the Redeemer of this world, Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for his Atoning Sacrifice. Because of Him I can live with my family and God eternally. There is no way I could ever repay him for what he did for me personally and for all that have lived, are living and will live on this earth. I am a member of this church because I know the Book of Mormon is scripture written by ancient prophets that lived on the American Continent. Their is no other church on this that reads the Book of Mormon and because of that I am convinced that this is God's Church. I am a Mormon because their is a prophet that guides and directs God's children living today. I would not have known any of these things to be true if I hadn't asked God for myself, through prayer, if they were in fact true. He gave me an answer through the Holy Ghost that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is His church. I will continue to ask and pray to God for more truth and he will continue to answer my prayers.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving and doing my best to be a disciple of my Savior Jesus Christ. I find it extremely satisfying to learn about his life and ministry when he lived on this earth through scripture study. The more I learn about Him the more I want to be like Him. I live my faith by keeping the commandments and by trying to love everyone around me. I am also most fortunate to be serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Virginia and North Carolina. Everyday I get to meet new people and share messages that have changed my life completely. I live my faith by helping people know their Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ.
