Hi I'm Brett

I live in Alberta Canada and started my own chiropractic practice with 4 kids age 4 and under. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town and have always enjoyed playing sports and being outdoors. After graduating from chiropractic school my wife was due with twins and I finished just in time to return home to be there for their birth. We have 4 kids and currently am trying to build up my own business as a chiropractor while still supporting a wife and 4 young kids along the way. Even though it can be a struggle at times (many times) the Lord has blessed us so much in all of it and when we trust in Him, the pathway becomes clear, but usually it isn't till after our faith has been tried. We have truly been blessed in so many ways.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Because I know that I am a child of God and that He loves me. He has given me and everyone on this earth a way to know of His truth and a way to find true joy in this life. The way I know, and the way anyone can know is from asking God themselves if He really has a plan for them, if the Book of Mormon really is true, and if Joseph Smith really was a prophet of God. I have prayed and know for myself that these things are true. Just praying once and receiving this witness through the Holy Ghost is not enough, I have strived to live the teaching and doctrines in my life and have seen the fruits come of it. It is not in a big house or fancy car, but in the joy I have playing with my kids and the blessings of guidance when I'm not sure what decision to make. It's in the continual living of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that we come to know even more or with greater conviction that we are sons and daughters of God, who is our Father and has a plan for us to return to Him, and He wants us to know what that plan is.

How I live my faith

I have an opportunity to assist with teaching and working in the scouting program with the youth aged boys ages 14-15. Our regular church meetings and activities during the week have given me a great appreciation for what they stand up against and their courage to face the many temptations for youth today. I have also had a great opportunity to help out the communities in which I live by hosting a charity motorcycle ride to raise money for a local need in the community. Whether it be an organization or a family, each year I try to figure out where we can help the most. It started out as a way to help flood victims from the adjoining community and has continued on. It's been a great way to meet other giving people in the community while enjoying something I love to do and in the beautiful landscape in which I live.
