Hi I'm Alice

Hi, I am from the southern united states. I grew up in two cultures, the Japanese culture and American culture. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy learning about different cultures especially the food since I am a big foodie. Besides food I also enjoy traveling. When I graduate from college I plan on traveling to several foreign countries to teach English. I also like to do outdoor activities, like hiking and canoeing. One of my favorite activities to do outside is to play soccer. I enjoy watching the World Cup for soccer as well. Another well known event that I also like to watch is the Olympics. One of my favorite parts about the Olympics is the opening and closing ceremonies.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because whenever I think of the gospel of this church I feel a sense of warmth and comfort that I only feel when I think of this gospel.

How I live my faith

In my home ward I taught the seven year olds about the gospel. I enjoyed teaching them but they did get rowdy at times however they were a good group of kids. I know that as they grow their faith in this gospel will become strong. Besides teaching the seven years olds I also went to a class every Tuesday for young adults where I learned about the gospel. I enjoyed learning about all the interesting things that the gospel has to offer us. I also participated in the activities that my home ward had throughout the year, like the Christmas or Halloween party.
