Hi I'm Madison

I am from the great state of Tennessee. I enjoy dancing, good food, BYU, and making others smile. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in raised in the rolling hills of Tennessee, just outside of Music City U.S.A. I have one younger brother, who I consider to be one of my very best friends. I have the most loving parents who are so supportive of everything I do. I currently attend the best college out there, Brigham Young University and hope to pursue a career in Elementary Education. I absolutely love working with kids and hope to be a great influence in the lives of my future students. I love finding ways to serve those around me and was able to serve a two week mission trip in Santa Cruz, Bolivia building classrooms for a local school. I love learning about new cultures, new people, and finding new inspiration. I hope to continue finding ways to serve others by serving in the Colorado Fort Collins Mission for the next 18 months. The gospel of Jesus Christ has made such an impact on my life, and I hope to help others come unto Christ as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have seen how much this church has shaped my life. The principles outlined in it have helped me to become a better person, a better daughter, a better friend, and a better disciple of Jesus Christ. I continue to follow His gospel because of the way it makes me feel. I am so much happier when I am worshipping Him and can feel his infinite love for me. I have come to know that this church is true through prayer and study. That is the great thing about our Heavenly Father. He is there to help us know when we find truth. As I have prayed to know if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true, I have felt peace, hope, and eternal love. I am a Mormon because of the great blessings I have received by following the gospel of Christ. I am a Mormon because I want to share the great blessings that come through following our Savior, Jesus Christ. I know of the love our Heavenly Father has for His children, I hope to bring others to come to know that also.

How I live my faith

I am living my faith by preparing to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I will teach those around me for 18 months about the gospel of Jesus Christ, His atonement, and His love for each and every one of us. I live my faith each and every day by putting my faith and trust in Heavenly Father and the plan he has for me. At times, it is not easy to put trust in God, but as I attend church, read my scriptures, say my prayers, and try to be my best self, I find that He helps me through it all. I try to find ways to uplift those around me through service, whether that means a simple smile or a word of encouragement. I find that by making other happy, I gain so much happiness as well. I live my faith by knowing my divine potential. I know that my Heavenly Father has an infinite love for all of His children, and this includes me. I try everyday to live my faith to show Him that I know how much He loves, cares, and knows about me. I live my faith by trying a little bit harder to be a little bit better.
