Hi I'm "C.B." Johnson

I am from Bridgeton, New Jersey, now living in Syracuse, Utah. I love to do Family History Research and "I am a Mormon".

About Me

I love to do Family History Research and Genealogy. I have been doing it for over 50 years. I can feel a closeness to my ancestor as I search out my kindred dead. It can be said that I have caught the Spirit of Elijah. I am married with five children and 17 grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

My Brother and his joined the Mormon church in Texas, in the 1950s. He shard the gospel with my Mom and Dad and I. At the time he was a Stake Missionary. My mother was so proud of him for being a mission that she told the ladies where she worked. A month or so latter one of the ladies brought into work an artical stating that the Mormon church was holding Services in a home in Bridgeton N.J. My mother and I attended the next Sunday. There were about 12 people there that Sunday. We meet Two Mormon Missionaries and invited them to our home to learn more. My mother was very well versed on the Bible. The more we were tough the more logical the doctrine became. We started to read the Book Of Mormon. We could feel the Spirit and knew that the Book Of Mormon was true.

How I live my faith

I teach Family History in my church. I love to go into the homes of my friends and help them with their family history. I am the church Family History Coordinator. We have Four other Consultant that do the same. It is interesting researching old Census record, birth records and death records. you get a good feeling knowing that you are connecting the pass with the future.
