Hi I'm Tristan

I grew up in St. George Utah as a non member. Went to college and decided to be baptized. Couldn't be happier to be a Mormon.

About Me

I am a convert being baptized on March 8th of 2014 and leaving on my mission on March 25th of 2015. I'm serving a mission in Mongolia from March of 2015 to 2017. I've played soccer my whole life and I played in high school and then in college for two years. I also play guitar and love music. The Red Hot Chili Peppers are my favorite band. No idea what I want to do as far as a career yet, but there's time to decide after my mission!

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up I never had a desire for religion. I never felt a need for God in my life, I felt I could do everything by myself. Leaving home and going to college showed me that I couldn't do everything by myself and I needed a guide. I looked to god and read the Book of Mormon. I felt the spirit and the comfort talking to Heavenly Father brought to my life. I couldn't deny the feelings and the Holy Ghost so I knew I had to be baptized to find true happiness. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has changed my life tremendously and I can't be thankful enough for it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always remembering to read the scriptures everyday and praying every morning and every night. I have changed a few things about the way I lived before I was baptized to become a member and show Heavenly Father I have faith in him. I stand strong in what I believe and let people I know what stand for and I won't give in to the worldly things. I choose to live the ways of Christ because of the happiness it brings me.
