Hi I'm Jade

I'm from Belfast, Northern Ireland. I speak three languages. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a family that aren't interested in religion at all. When I was 16 I was introduced to the Church and wanted to be baptised but my parents wouldn't allow me. I met with missionaries again when I was 19 and joined the Church and it's the best thing that's ever happened to me! I had to wait a LONG time but it was definitely worth it! I only have one sister but she's amazing! I live in a little village just outside Belfast in Northern Ireland. I love spending time with friends and doing cool things together! I am totally obsessed with Taylor Swift! She's insane! I'm always up for a laugh and I'm quite an easy going person. I was studying French, Spanish and Chinese at university and now I'm going to study to be a teacher cause I love kids!

Why I am a Mormon

Well obviously everyone needs to find out if the Church is true but even more so for converts. So after reading the Book of Mormon I prayed about it and it worked! I'd never had a feeling like that before in my life and I knew it was the Holy Ghost bearing witness to me. Since then my testimony grew even before I was baptised and since I was it's grown even more! I've been blessed so much since joining the Church and I know it is Heavenly Father's true Church. I have a testimony of the power of prayer and how obeying the law of tithing can bless your life. I am so thankful that I met the missionaries and that they taught me so well. My missionaries really are two of the greatest people I have ever met in my life and I'm so grateful that they were both able to stay in my area to teach me all of the lessons, baptise me, confirm me and also to see my give my first talk!

How I live my faith

For me I like to make sure I am always covering the basics such as daily prayer and scripture study and always attending Church on a Sunday. Since I joined the Church I received a calling as a secretary and I love it! It's helped bring me closer to the people who I work with and I love all the jobs I carry out. It's great fun!
