Hi I'm Anna

I grew up in Tucson, Arizona. I'm a chemist with a love of music, and a musician with a love of chemistry. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student learning about living far from home. I'm a double major in chemistry and music. I'm a flute player by trade. I also enjoy reading, traveling, knitting and crocheting. I come from a large extended family, and love spending as much time as possible with them. I am currently preparing to serve a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the gospel by two wonderful parents. I was taught the principles of the gospel from a very young age. However I was always given the opportunity to choose for myself to continue following the commandments. I choose to do so because there is nothing in this world that makes me happier. I love to see how this gospel can change people's lives. I love how it brings people who would otherwise never meet together. I love how it helps people grow.

How I live my faith

I actively attend my local ward, which is made up of other young, unmarried adults. Within that ward I visit 2 girls from the ward monthly to share a brief message and offer help and support. I also attend classes at the local Institute, a place for learning more about the gospel. There are classes on a number of topics. I am currently taking the Book of Mormon class, which focuses on the teachings in that book, and the Missionary Preparation course, which focuses on serving a mission.
