Hi I'm Matt

I grew up in the little town of Rupert, Idaho! And I wouldn't want it any other way. I am a construction worker and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old. I am currently serving a mission in Farmington New Mexico, Spanish speaking. I love to play sports, all kinds of sports. I like to hunt. I love being out on the water, you could probably find me on those summer nights behind a boat, or even just swimming. I'm a pretty simple guy, I try to appreciate the small things in life. I am so thankful for our Father in Heaven and the amazing, personal plans that he has for each one of us. And I am always teying to search for the Lords plan for me, in everything that I do.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon first, because I grew up in the church. And secondly, because being a member of the church gives me constant direction in my life. And most importantly, I am a Mormon because it,s what I love! I am a Mormon because I love our Father in Heaven, and being a Mormon is how I grow closer to him. I love this church, I love God, and I love Jesus Christ, they are the reason for every good thing that has happened in my life. I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I have always tried to live my faith by striving to find ways to reach out to others in need whenever I see the chance. I have really gained a testimony of serving others, and I love to serve! When we serve others we are truly doing the Lord's work, when we serve others, or at least when I serve others, I feel closer to Christ, our perfect example. I really try to keep my eyes open to the good in people, and not judge under any circumstances, in the hope that others would do the same towards me.
