Hi I'm Heather

I grew up near Rigby, Idaho. I'm currently going to school at BYU. I love film. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a college student, aspiring to be a film major. I'm the youngest of my immediate family and my parents are divorced. I love movies so much and music. The alto saxophone is my main instrument that I am intermediate at playing, but I also slightly play the piano, trumpet, violin, and flute. I played softball in my teenage years and still enjoy a good game of catch with friends outside.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a member of the church when I was eight. I was born in this gospel, but have had many trying times that have tested my faith. I don't believe I was truly converted until I was about sixteen. This was a time when I started seminary and began to truly understand the aspects of the gospel. It was also the time when my parents were having their divorce and I found out who my father really was. It became a time where I needed to either completely reject the gospel or else hold tight to it for dear life. I decided to trust in Heavenly Father to help me make it through my trials and keep my faith strong. I have been blessed so much from this and my testimony has continued to be strong. I know that Christ atoned for our sins allow a way for us to repent and return to Heavenly Father again. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith translated it. I know that there is a living prophet on the earth today, and that is President Thomas S. Monson. This gospel is my rock, my salvation, and I know it to be absolutely true.

How I live my faith

I am what is called a ward missionary. What I do is try to show others what our gospel is like and do this by talking to others over the interwebs on sites like this.
