Hi I'm Sister Rachel Lee

I grew up mainly in Arizona. I am a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read fictional books, and my scriptures. I love to play Volleyball for fun. I am currently on my mission in Canada, Edmonton. I have 3 other siblings, 2 of which have already or is serving a mission. One served in Argentina and my other brother served in Hong Kong. I have always been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my entire life, and I love being a member and the joy I receive from this gospel. I plan on going to BYU, and getting my degree in Elementary Education and possibly a degree in Family History.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be in this Church for many reasons. One of which is the joy that I receive from this gospel. I know that my Heavenly Father knows and loves me very much. I know that my Savior, Jesus Christ suffered for my sins so that one day I can return to my Father in Heaven again. I know that families are forever and I am grateful to be apart of an eternal family and I love them so much, they mean the world to me. I am so grateful for the trials and challenges that I face each day, because I know that I can grow and learn from my mistakes. I am so grateful for The Book of Mormon and for all the lessons that I have learned from reading this book, and I know that everything that happened in The Book of Mormon is true. I love how we are able to apply everything that has happened in the Book of Mormon to or lives! The Book of Mormon was written for our day! I would like to invite those who haven't read The Book of Mormon to read it! It will bless your lives! I am so grateful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ and the restoration of he gospel. Without the gospel, I wouldn't know what to do with my life.

How I live my faith

I was a teacher, and I love being a teacher because I have learned so much from these 3 to 4 year old. I also enjoy doing visiting teaching and getting to know the sisters in the ward. I love to join and help out in activities, such as Make a Difference Day, where we get to go out and do service for others in our community.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

Sister Rachel Lee
The Holy Ghost is a member of the godhead, along with God the Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ. The Holy Ghost is a separate being. Mormons believe that the Holy Ghost is a comfortor, who can comfort us whenwe are sad, sick, or even when we are scared. The Holy Ghost testifies that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are real. The Holy Ghost helps us to choose the right, and it is a gift given to us from our Heavenly Father, who is also known as God the Father. The special mission of the Holy Ghost is to testify of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, to reveal the truth, to comfort us in times of trouble, and to sanctify us. the process by which we are cleansed and perfected is often called sanctification. The Holy Ghost is a divine guide and teacher. Show more Show less

What is the Book of Mormon?

Sister Rachel Lee
The Book of Mormon is an ancient record of God's dealings with his people in the Americas. It is written by many prophets that were called of God to teach their people. The Book of Mormon starts off with a family that was commanded to leave Jerusalem and to travel to the American continent. All throughout The Book of Mormon, it shows that it has been handed down from generation to generation. Mormon, a prophet, abridged the record of the Nephites and the Lamanites. The Book of Mormon is named after Mormon, who was one of the last of these ancient prophets, there he handed the plates down to his son, Moroni. In Moroni 10: 3-5, there is a promise that is given to us if we read The Book of Mormon and pray to know whether or not The Book of Mormon is true. I know that Heavenly Father truly does answer prayers if we pray with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ because he loves us and we are his children! Show more Show less
